Weather on Saturday was good until just after Lord Phillips walked through the door at the end then it rained very hard drowning the slower walkers. On Sunday it was cold but beautifully sunny and very pretty.
Just under 500 walkers have so far raised over £40,000 and we estimate that will be over £50,000 by the end of the week as more goes online and offline funds start to come in.
We were told that the Jordans and Family Law goodie bags went down a storm - especially the Haribos!
The Managing Partners of Herbert Smith, CMS Cameron McKenna and Simons Muirhead and Burton were among the walkers as was Paul Mendelle QC joint head of Chambers at 25 Bedford Row. Mr Justice Haddon-Cave joined Lord Phillips for the first day.
