The General Medical Council’s fitness to practice panel had followed the correct procedure and was entitled to reach the decision that the Appellant was to be erased from the medical register.

(i) The Appellant was a doctor who had been erased from the medical register following a decision by a fitness to practice panel convened by the General Medical Council.
