R (ICO Satellite Ltd) v Office of Communications [2011] EWCA Civ 1121 (2011) PLLR 067

Regulatory law – telecommunications – assignments – communication satellites – relevant considerations – proportionality

It was lawful and proportionate for OFCOM to request the cancellation of assignments registered by the International Telecommunications Union on the Master International Frequency Register. In particular, OFCOM was not required to take into account the lack of impact on third parties as a relevant consideration.
