Notice of removal of a child from those seeking to adopt the child was not a breach of their Article 8 rights, as the removal of the child was more than likely to occur with or without this notice.

(1) Further to a decision made in the Administrative Court on 27 May 2011 as to the adoption of a child, this hearing sought to address the remaining issues. The local authority had reconsidered the question whether K (the child) should be returned to the Claimants, and so be placed with them with a view to his adoption by them. The decision reached by the local authority was that K should not be returned to the Claimants.
