Refusal to return the Claimant’s Sri Lankan passport constituted wrongful interference by way of conversion.
(1) Mr Atapattu, the Claimant, sought to recover damages for the failure to issue him with a visa to the UK and for the wrongful retention of this Sri Lankan passport.
