Ireland - Obligation to Hear the Child under Article 11(2) in Ireland - July 2012

Following on from the last blog in relation to the removal of children from the jurisdiction of England and Wales by parents or other parties to the Republic of Ireland, this blog will deal with developments in Irish law in the application of Art 11(2) of Council Regulation (EC) 2201/2003 in proceedings concerning a young child with particular reference to a case where the child was removed from England to Ireland.
