Cassidy v Sibly [2012] FamCA 245 (Cassidy)

The recent Family Court of Australia decision of Cassidy has provided further insight into the determination of international parenting disputes in Australian Courts. In Cassidy, Dawe J made orders which effectively separated two young brothers (aged 6 and 1 at the time of the trial), with each child to live with a different parent on opposite sides of the world.
