The Applicant ("A") - daughter of 1st and 2nd Respondents - aged 20 - applied for forced marriage protection orders under Part 4A of Family Law Act 1996 in respect of herself, her 18 year old sister ("B") and their 5 younger siblings. A and her siblings travelled with their parents to Bangladesh. During the trip, A stated that she became aware her parents intended to force her into marriage. A escaped Bangladesh with the assistance of the Forced Marriage Unit at British High Commission in Bangladesh and returned to England.
