Withers LLP v Langbar International Ltd [2011] EWCA Civ 1419, [2012] BPIR 246 (Court of Appeal, Lloyd and Kitchen LJJ and Sir Robin Jacob, 5 December 2011)

A firm of solicitors held sums in its client account. Morgan J held ([2011] EWHC 1151 (Ch), [2011] BPIR 1202) that it had a common law lien over money pursuant to a court order, but did not have an equitable charge over the money.
