Williams (Trustee of the Property of Nassim Mohammed) v Mohammed [2011] BPIR 1787 (Chancery Division, His Honour Judge Hodge QC (sitting as a High Court judge), 16 March 2011)

Post-bankruptcy, the bankrupt had obtained advice from a solicitor as to the bankruptcy estate, the approach to be adopted with the trustee in bankruptcy and the application of insolvency law to the bankrupt’s business affairs. On the trustee’s application, the district judge ordered the bankrupt to disclose a copy of the file note of the advice provided by the solicitor.
