Expert guidance on all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency

11 AUG 2011

"UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency: the judicial perspective"

Hat tip to Peter Cranston, Eversheds partner and Council Member at the Insolvency Lawyers Association (ILA), who has recently publicised the fact that the "UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency: the judicial perspective" has been published. Mr Cranston notes, "This text offers general guidance to judges on how to approach applications for recognition and relief under the Model Law, but it is not prescriptive in terms of how judges ought to act. It has a useful summary of some of the recent case law that has interpreted certain of the Model Law's provisions."  To access the text click here.
