The Scottish court, having learned of circumstances related to the liquidation of the company which raised concern delivered an opinion on appropriate practices to be adopted by liquidators and those advising them, especially as regards avoiding conflicts of interest where solicitors acted for both the petitioning creditor and liquidator.
