Professor Milman's Manchester Lecture - 02/11/11

Manchester Law School has announced a Commercial Law seminar to mark the retirement of Professor John Birds. The session will take place on Wednesday 2 November 2011 14.00-16.00 in Moot Room 3.10 Williamson Building, Oxford Road, University of Manchester, M13 9PL.

Papers will be given by Professor Robert Merkin, University of Southampton, (Reform of Insurance Law?) and Professor David Milman, University of Lancaster (40 Years of Change in Corporate Law). According to the press release this will be followed by a drinks reception 16.00-17.00 (open to non-seminar attenders) followed by a dinner in a City centre restaurant. The release notes that the seminar and drinks reception are free of charge, but a small contribution may be required of those attending the dinner.
