Expert guidance on all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency

18 JUN 2012

No Insolvency Gongs as such in the Queen's Birthday Honours

Regular blog readers will know that we like to play spot the insolvency gong on the blog when each new year brings news of various medals and awards (see here, here and here). This year marks the most sparse year for insolvency gongs in the last decade. There only appears to be one award of relevance (and even that is tenuous) in the recent Queen's Birthday Honours List 2012. An OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) goes to Mrs Kshama Shore, Deputy Head, Debt Management and Banking, Northampton, HM Revenue and Customs. There ae some gongs for academics, lawyers and accountants, but not for insolvency related work.
