Professor Burdette has sent out details of the first Insolvency Bulletin from NTU's new insolvency centre. Here are the details:
"Insolvency Bulletin (Volume 1, Spring 2012)
Late last year we announced the establishment of the Centre for Business and Insolvency Law at Nottingham Law School. One of the objectives mentioned at the time was the publication in 2012 of an insolvency bulletin dealing with all the latest case law in this field. I am pleased to announce that Volume 1 (Spring 2012) of the Insolvency Bulletin is now available on the Centre's website, and can be viewed and downloaded here. My profound thanks to Paula Moffatt for undertaking this mammoth task, and for undertaking to publish the Insolvency Bulletin once every term. We hope that you will find the contents of the bulletin useful in the context of your work.
INSOL Europe Joint Insolvency Conference, 28 and 29 June 2012
In my last e-mail to you I also mentioned that we would be co-hosting the INSOL Europe Academic Forum Conference in June 2012. The theme of the conference is "Too Big to Fail?: Large National and International Insolvencies Under the Spotlight". Conference registration has been open for some time and, if you have not already done so, I would like to encourage you to please support this conference by registering online as soon as possible. Please follow this link in order to register. You can also view the conference brochure and the programme as it currently stands, (please scroll down until you find the Nottingham Conference). There are still a few spots open for the presentation of a paper, so if you are interested in presenting one please contact me urgently by email."
