Hot on the heels of the recently published insolvency bill and the announcement that the Irish Government has launched its own Insolvency Service there is more coverage of these reforms in the press. The Financial Times has a story on some of the issues raised by the reforms (see here). At a local level the Kilkenny People has also published a piece highlighting problems with the bill (see here). The Irish Times has focused on the issue of selling jewelry as part of settlement of an insolvency estate (see here). Some quarters have noted that moves such as this are unfair.
