MG Rover DTI (as it then was) report publication delayed pending SFO investigation

03 JUL 2009

The Sunday Telegraph is reporting (Serious Fraud Office to investigate collapse of MG Rover) that the long awaited report into the collapse of MG Rover by "insolvency law expert" Mr Guy Newey QC of Maitland Chambers and Mr Gervase MacGregor of BDO Stoy Hayward may have its publication delayed. This is apparently because BIS's the Lord Mandelson is going to make a Parliamentary announcement tomorrow that the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) are going to investigate alleged "criminal" activities at the failed firm. The BBC report on the issue can be viewed here.
