Insolvency Items in the News: Quinn bankruptcy; IPs' fees; OZ BDO partner insolvent

The Irish Times are reporting some further developments in the Quinn bankruptcy. Gabriel Moss QC is acting for the former Allied Irish bank. He stated that a bankruptcy petition would be filed in the Republic if the Northern Irish order was annulled. Watch this space! The Daily Telegraph has picked up on the recently announced Davey Review of IPs. The paper has concentrated (perhaps a tad predictably) on the IPs' fees. Meanwhile, down under a BDO tax parnter is insolvent to the tune of $5 million. Struth!
