Espionage and Insolvency - Tinker, Tailor, Administrator, Trustee?

We have addressed insolvency and espionage on the blog before (in the context of Le Carre's bankrupt father) but a recent story in The Times seems to suggest that the dark arts are at play in the world of insolvency. The Times has reported that Baker Tilly 's Ms Tracey Callaghan has retired following some intelligence related issues at Barclays. As Patrick Hosking notes: "One of Britain’s biggest insolvency practitioners is being investigated for industrial espionage after an employee seconded to Barclays allegedly stole information about one of the bank’s clients, The Times has learnt." There is surprisingly little else in the press regarding this story.
