Cosco Bulk Carrier Co Ltd v (1) Armada Shipping SA (2) STX Pan Ocean Co Ltd [2011] EWHC 216 (Ch); [2011] BPIR 626

Armada, which had gone into bankruptcy in Switzerland, had chartered a vessel from Cosco under a time charter and sub-chartered it to STX. Both the time charter and the sub-charter contained London arbitration clauses, and provided that any dispute arising thereunder should be governed by English law.
