Burke (Liquidator of Idessa (UK) Ltd) and Idessa (UK) Ltd v Morrison and Povey (formerly Heath) [2011] EWHC 804 (Ch), [2011] BPIR 957, (Lesley Anderson QC (sitting as a deputy High Court judge), 31 Mar 2011)

A liquidator brought claims against de jure and alleged de facto directors of the company, alleging misfeasance and transactions at an undervalue in respect of 16 suspicious payments and wrongful trading. Lesley Anderson QC (sitting as a deputy High Court judge) granted the misfeasance and wrongful trading applications, holding that it was not necessary to reach a view on the transaction at an undervalue allegations.
