Adeosun v Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs  EWHC 1577 (Ch),  BPIR 1555 (Chancery Division, Vos J, 8 April 2011)
HMRC presented a bankruptcy petition in the sum of £107,000 odd. The debtor made a number of payments, but also made promises to pay the balance, which were not kept. A bankruptcy order was made when the debt stood at £89,000 odd, at a time when the debtor was offering to pay £60,000 with instalments of £10,000 a month.
