A Purle of a case on IP block transfers - ACCA v. Koumettou [2012] EWHC 1265

I thought readers might be interested in this relatively recent judgment by His Honour Judge Purle QC - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants v Koumettou & Anor [2012] EWHC 1265 (Ch) (20 March 2012). Apart from being the first time that an RPB has sought to overturn a block transfer between its own members, it also gives the RPB’s nominee as successor officeholder a higher status than any other nominee.  Presumably this will be accompanied by a higher duty on the RPB to select the appropriate person. Yet more interesting case law on the subject of IP regulation!
