The Defibrillators (Availability) Bill is expected to have its second reading debate on 12 May 2017. The Bill will require the provision of defibrillators in education establishments, leisure, sports and certain other public facilities. It will also require the provision for training persons to operate defibrillators; to make provision for funding the acquisition, installation, use and maintenance of defibrillators.
