CARE PROCEEDINGS: Re H (McKenzie Friend)

(Court of Appeal, Sir N Wall P, Arden, Sullivan LJJ, 20 June 2012)

The father appealed a case management decision to refuse permission for him to be assisted by a McKenzie friend, who had been found to have behaved in an intimidating manner towards the mother. The judge had regard to the relevant Practice Guidance and made a robust decision which he was plainly entitled to make. Appeal dismissed.
