On two previous occasions, I have reviewed the previous year's reported decisions containing an ancillary relief element, most recently in 'The Section 25 Interpreter: Ancillary Relief and Capital Provision' [2006] Fam Law 108. This article endeavours to repeat the exercise, summarising the effect of many of the cases that have been reported in the law reports over the past year.
