Mendoza v Ghaidan - Two steps forward, one step back [2003] CFLQ 313

The Court of Appeal ruled that a same-sex partner was entitled to succeed to a statutory tenancy in the name of his deceased partner under paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 1 to the Rent Act 1977 as if he were the husband or wife of the deceased.
