MEDICAL TREATMENT: Dickson v UK

The refusal to allow a prisoner and his wife to obtain artificial insemination facilities was a breach of the couples right under European Convention on Human Rights, Art 8, to respect for private and family life, given that in the circumstances this was the only means by which they could have children.
