ANCILLARY RELIEF: Chambers v Chambers [2007] EWCA Civ 1165

(Court of Appeal; Ward, Arden and Smith LJJ; 4 October 2007)

The court confirmed that a property subject to an order for sale for over 20 years was to be sold to a developer, as requested by the wife. The husbands need to challenge a local land charge registered by the local authority following their repairs to the property did not impinge on the correctness of the order that the husband vacate the property and that the property be sold now.
