The Family Justice Council is holding a debate and panel discussion entitled ‘Experts in the family courts: are they worth it?'
The debate will be held in the Parliament Chamber at the Inner Temple, London EC4, between 5pm and 7pm on Thursday 1st December. It will focus on concerns about quality, cost and other issues raised by the current approach to commissioning expert evidence for use in the family courts. The debate will also cover alternative approaches proposed by the Family Justice Review and Sir Liam Donaldson in ‘Bearing Good Witness'.
