(Court of Appeal; Lloyd, Patten LJJ and Sir Mark Potter; 21 January 2011)
Both children, aged 13 and 17, had decided they did not wish to see their father again. The father made a DVD for the 13 year old child to watch and the child refused to do so. The Cafcass officer considered it was not appropriate to coerce contact given the age and maturity.
Judge dismissed father's application for indirect contact and made s 91(14) order, declining father's application for an adjournment to obtain evidence as to alternative forms of indirect contact.
