FINANCIAL ORDER: Whaley v Whaley [2011] EWCA Civ 617

(Court of Appeal; Mummery and Black LJJ and Lewison J; 24 May 2011)

The husband's appeal against an ancillary relief award to the wife of £3.75m (36% of the assets) was dismissed. The judge's order did not put undue pressure on the trustees who were likely to make available to the husband such resources as he requested.
