Care proceedings in which the appellant appealed a finding of fact made against him. The bundle of authorities provided to the court contained only one copied from a Law Report, the remainder were printouts from the BAILII website and the relevant passages had not been marked or highlighted.
Relevant authorities should be copied from the official Law Reports and BAILII printouts should only be used if no other recognised reports were available. Relevant passages should be highlighted.
