Family Law

The leading authority on all aspects of family law

10 FEB 2011

CARE PROCEEDINGS: Re C and D (Photographs of Injuries) [2010] EWHC (Fam)

(Family Division; HHJ Clifford Bellamy sitting as a judge of the HC; 9 November 2010)

In a fact finding hearing the court rejected the local authority's case that six week old twin girls had suffered non-accidental injuries. The court also held that it would not be appropriate at a fact finding hearing to assess any future risk, which would be more appropriately done at a threshold hearing.
