RESIDENCE: M v M [2010] EWHC 3579 (Fam)

The child was 8 years old. The leave to remain of both Indian parents was due to expire shortly. The father sought a residence order and leave to remove the child to India. The mother sought residence order in her favour. The child was living with the mother.  The mother had left the child with the father briefly when she first came to UK as a student. After the child joined her she ended contact.
