The three-year time limit for bringing claims under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 runs from the date of the incident complained of or, where there is a series of incidents amounting to a course of conduct, from the date of the last of those incidents. Whether a number of different incidents amount to a course of conduct has to be determined by viewing the evidence as a whole.
