Ryanair Ltd v Esso Italiana Srl [2013] EWCA Civ 1450; [2014] UKCLR 247
On 19 November 2013, the Court of Appeal allowed an appeal relating to the construction of a jurisdiction clause in a contract. The court held that Ryanair could not rely on the contract to bring a tortious claim for damages in the English courts following the operation of a cartel.
