John Lewis plc v Office of Fair Trading and DSG Retail Ltd [2013] CAT 10; [2013] CompAR 315

On 29 May 2013, the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) rejected an application for costs made by the intervener in an earlier proceeding, upholding the general position that interveners in Tribunal proceedings will not be awarded costs.
