Elf Aquitaine and Arkema

On 17 May, the General Court dismissed appeals by Elf Aquitaine and its subsidiary Arkema France against the Commission decision fining them for participating in the sodium chlorate cartel. It is the first decision of the EU Courts in connection with fines that were set under the 2006 fining guidelines.
