Chapter 2B includes some minor updates and looks in particular at two interesting cases. Holterman Ferho v Spies von Büllesheim is studied with reference to jurisdiction over ordinary claims and jurisdiction over certain disputes governed by company law. KA Finanz v Sparkassen Versicherung is concerned with the impact of Treaty provisions in relation to the protection of creditors and the English choice of law rules on corporate matters.
Chapter 6 has some minor updating and includes an update on pensions with the case of Jürgen Webb-Sämann v Christopher Seagon.
Chapter 10 includes routine updating and details of the Commission Review of the Merger Regulation.
