 This case involves the interpretation and application of the Cross-Border Insolvency Regulations 2006 (“the CBIR”). In particular, it concerns the scope of the relief that may be granted by the Companies Court upon recognition of a foreign insolvency proceeding. For convenience, I have set out the relevant provisions of the CBIR in an appendix to this judgment.
