Dr Rob George is a Barrister at Harcourt Chambers and a Lecturer in family law at University College London. He is recognised as a leading expert on relocation law and other issues relating to international child law, and is frequently instructed in cases involving complex international elements. Rob’s recent reported cases include Re C (Internal Relocation) [2015] EWCA Civ 1305 and Re J (Abduction: 1996 Hague Convention) [2015] UKSC 70, while his books include Family Law: Text, Cases, and Materials (OUP, 2015) and Relocation Disputes: Law and Practice in England and New Zealand (Hart Publishing, 2014), he is the co-author of Relocation: A Practical Guide (Family Law, 2016) and author of Ideas and Debates in Family Law (Hart, 2012), amongst other publications.
