David  Briggs

David Briggs works as a forensic clinical psychologist throughout the UK and Channel Islands. David's background was originally in practice as a child psychologist though over the past years he has been drawn into attempts at prevention, and hence work with adults, extended family members and community systems. Much of his current practice is within the family court systems whereupon he is called to assess those who maltreat children, as well as the partners and family members of significance to those abusers. He has a particular interest in difficult to engage clients and has developed interventions to enhance and sustain precursors to change.
